Tao in Chinese mean path or road taken on a journey.
We have 5 pieces on this necklace that has two sides to each piece. One side is sterling silver. The other is 9ct gold. The gold is not platted but gold sheet, so there is no worry of the gold wearing off. 
 
As the pieces move back and forth you get flashes between the silver and gold.
The 5 pieces are suspended in a 18" spiega chain.
