The triskele or triskelion are just two of many different spellings of this 3 legged symbol. This symbol is rooted in ancient Neolithic traditions, it first appeared carved into the stones of Newgrange in Ireland, a site older than the pyramids of Egypt. However variants have been found across europe through the centuries, with many different thoughts on it's meaning.
